Trump just made the Canada thing worse
Donald Trump, the biggest failure in history, continues to pick the wrong fights with the wrong people. He just bombed Iran and had it backfire on him, and now he’s reportedly considering bribing Iran. Even as he screws up his dealings on that side of the world, Trump is continuing to blow it closer to home.
Trump really seemed to think he could start, and win, a trade war with Canada. What Trump doesn’t get is that Canada has been voluntarily playing sidekick to the United States for decades, but hasn’t needed to. Now Canada keeps flexing its muscles in response. As usual, all Trump can do is whine.
Trump posted this to social media after losing yet another battle with Canada: “We have just been informed that Canada, a very difficult Country to TRADE with, including the fact that they have charged our Farmers as much as 400% Tariffs, for years, on Dairy Products, has just announced that they are putting a Digital Services Tax on our American Technology Companies, which is a direct and blatant attack on our Country.”
Yes, that was all one big run-on sentence. But wow this guy can whine. His rant kept going, and ended with “Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Uh, hate to break it to you Donald, but the President of the United States doesn’t need to talk like this. Unless, of course, you’re such a weak President of the United States that everyone still blows you off like a joke even though you hold the most powerful office in the world.
